HELPER

This is an entry level position that puts you on the fast track to become a Restoration Technician. Introduction to restoration services where you will be on job sites with other workers to provide support with fetching tools, bagging debris, taking photos, and cleanup work. This is where you will see the technical aspects of what it takes to elevate in the organization. In the office you will participate in safety meetings, job briefings, and decontamination of tools and equipment.

Carpentry experience is preferred as well as owning basic hand and power tools. Having a work-ready reliable mode of transportation also increases your chances for promotion. After 25 jobs, you will be eligible for a promotion. Time frame is 3 to 6 months depending on your attendance and volume of work. Being available for work, showing up on time, working through projects as needed will be factored into promotion consideration. Also, safe work practices are taught, modeled, and expected from a Helper.

RESTORATION TECHNICIAN

This position requires at least one certification in any discipline of the abatement and restoration industry (e.g., asbestos, lead, fire & smoke, mold, odor, etc.) and at least one year of verifiable work experience (i.e., reference required). The expectation is that you know how to establish a critical barrier containment using a variety of methods, including tape, staples, spray glue, PVC pipes, poly sheeting, ZipWall systems,  decontamination chambers, negative air exhaust ducting, among others.

In addition to establishing containment, the technician is expected to wear a full-face respirator, full-body particulate suits, knee pads, gloves, and steel-toe boots, among other PPE as needed. During various phases of the work, multiple types of HEPA equipment (i.e., saws, vacuums, sanders, air filtration) are used to minimize aerosolized contaminants and prevent cross contamination.

This position involves driving, job staging, containment, demolition, cleanup, and disposal. Proper job sequencing is imperative to ensure safe and efficient work practices that preserve equipment, materials, and manage costs. Must have a work-ready vehicle that will be eligible for mileage reimbursement, and possess a basic amount of personal hand and power tools. Specialty equipment is provided by the Company.

LABORER/DRYWALLER

Core Job Duties: Performing carpentry tasks on residential & commercial properties, taking photographs, using hand and power tools. At least 2 years of experience in any field or construction position; mold industry a plus but not required. A work-ready vehicle and your own tools are required. You may be asked to perform a drywall repair from start to finish before being offered a position. You must know how to do good, clean work with a finished product that is code-compliant and aesthetically pleasing.
