Materials

Several materials are used to perform mold removal in a safe, effective and clean manner.

Floor covering: Rosen paper, Ram Board, blue tape, carpet plastic, soft pad covering. Other covering such a blanket, nylon, and drop cloths are used to protect countertops and personal contents.

Containment: 4 or 6 mil poly sheeting (or nylon equivalent) to establish critical barriers, two-sided tape, blue tape, teal tape, and vinyl tape are used to provide negative air pressure seal. 6 mil poly bags and vinyl tape are used to bag demolition debris and mold infested materials.

Protective Gear: Coveralls, gloves, masks, knee pads, googles, foot covers, hard hats, steel-toe boots, and other types of PPE are used to keep workers safe.

Chemistry – Presto Resto uses recognized brands in the restoration industry for disinfection, cleaning, and encapsulating of work areas, such as Sentinel, IAQA2000, Botaniclean, RMC, among others.

Miscellaneous: sanding discs, wire brushes, saw blades, clamps, and other materials that are used to perform the mold removal process.
